On importing a soil layer text file, you get following error message

[NL] Probleem met inlezen grondlagen.  Gelieve het bestandsformaat te controleren.

[FR] Problème pour lire les couches de sol. Vérifiez le format du fichier.

[ES] Problema para leer capas de terreno. Verificar el formato del fichero.

Solution

1. Open the file with Notepad.
2. Verify that
   1. There are no empty rows at the end of the file
   2. The first row (header) contains units. For the correct format, see Template soil layer input
3. Make the necessary changes and save the file.
