When defining a variable grid, you get the error:

Solution

Make sure the drawing plane is positioned in such a way that the distances are always positive.
For example: a T-shaped foundationslab needs measurements.

  • If the drawing plane is started at the origine the distance of the green measurement will have a negative value in the y’-direction. Diamonds cannot handle that resulting in the error.
  • If the drawing plane is tarted here, the distance of the green measurement will have a positive value in the y’-direction. Diamonds will not have a problem with that.
