It is possible to have an Ignore button in PowerConnect, allowing you to calculate connections that are just beyond the design code limits.
- Close PowerConnect
- Go to My documents > Powerconnect > {latest version} -> open PowerConnect.ini
- At the end of this file, add following text:
[MESSAGEFORM] Ignorable=1
- Save this file
- Open PowerConnect again. On calculation, you should see an ignore button now.
Keep in mind that whenever you do a calculation using the ‘Ignore’ button, the calculation is no longer in accordance to the selected Design code!
